These in-situ or outside solutions include the coordination and management of bulk goods flows for different business sectors such as animal feed, human agri-food, fertilisers, minerals, chemicals etc.

IDEA has dedicated sites, 3 of which connected to the railway, with handling equipment suitable for bulk goods, own light rail motor tractors and freight car unloading equipment. These infrastructures and equipment allow the handling of 2,000,000 tonnes of bulk goods per year.
With legacy know-how in the bulk agri-food supply-chain, IDEA is the co-founder of independent import and export terminals: agri-food bulk import warehouse (TMV), leading French independent peat terminal (Eurotourbes) and cereal silo. Its expertise is based on real partnerships with its customers, such as Cargill, Axéréal, Cecab, Bunge and Dreyfus.

Management of IDEA bulk storage sites
IDEA owns 4 bulk operations sites located between Saint-Nazaire and Montoir-de-Bretagne. Positioned near port terminals, at the intersection of bulk agri-food logistics flows, these sites are specifically designed for the handling and storage of cereals, meal, soybean, rapeseed, sunflower, fertilisers and oilseeds, mainly in bulk.

Road, maritime and rail bulk handling and transport
The IDEA teams receive products arriving by ship, truck and train. IDEA also handles road transport and road and rail handling on its own operating sites and the operating sites of its customers. IDEA can offer different types of complementary services such as batch segregation, Big Bag packaging and container stuffing.
IDEA offers different services relating to the management of railway terminals such as the approach, inspection and handling of freight cars on dedicated sites.
IDEA also has expertise in maritime customs transit that it implements for legacy customer, Cargill.
Stock management & storage in silos
IDEA provides bulk storage spaces and can handle the management of your inventory. IDEA guarantees the preservation of your products by selecting the most appropriate storage or staging resources such as the use of a flat-bottomed silo, outdoor yard or vertical silo.
Follow-up and management of factory supplies
IDEA co-coordinates the supply of your factories in bulk raw materials and performs supply operations: off-site and on-site storage, bulk transport, supply of production lines, coordination, etc. IDEA can for example charter road transport for you.
